Hey Guys!
Sorry for the lack of posts, Ive been busy checking sights up and down Samui!
I would like to thank the Novotel at Phuket for sending me to Samui for a sight seeing trip! I have had a amazing time. Ive taken a few days to check out the resorts here and have to say there isnt alot in regards to rate's!
Thailand was meant to have a bad tourist season due to all the issues it has had, but apparently resorts and hotels are booking up fast and they are happy to ask for more rather then less!
Ill continue looking and bring more back, Hotel Samui will find some good deals for you!

Phuket Deals Now Open!
Well Phuket Deals, also known as Best Phuket Deals has just opened! I have heard alot of rumors around the people in Phuket, and from many web trawlers on the Phuket forums!
Hotel Samui believes this website could be a great resource for new people to Phuket and regulars like my self! Hotel Samui understands the website will post regular update's on low fare's to Phuket for all airline's, the latest news that would concern a westerner traveling to Thailand, updates on the price you should pay for common items, ect ect.
It has also been brought to my attention that there has been a accident on the island of Samui, my understanding is a British tourist has fallen off a Jet Ski and another rider has ridden on top of him. It is believed he is currently in hospital, in a critical condition undergoing life saving surgery! Our hopes and prays are with this young man!
This may come as a reminder to the officials, that un-licensed Jet Ski Hire is extremely dangerous and leave's the tourist running a big risk, combined with the Jet Ski Damage scam most tourists suffer, it cause's grave concern for us at Hotel Samui and all the residents of Phuket.

Koh Samui Bar Girls
Well, for many years Samui has been known for its laid back attitude and the fact it is nothing like Patong or Phuket. It seems this is due to change, a number of bars in Samui have started to hire bar girls that work the same as in Phuket.
Currently the Hotels in Samui are allowing bar staff to come back to the hotel for free, but I suspect it will not be long until they have a fee to let them come in. Bar Fine are generally 300 baht, while I found 1 bar that was after 500.
Hotels Samui believes that this could be a pick up for Thailand's flailing tourist numbers, as it may help get more single guys to the island spending more money!
Samui may soon be another Patong! We can only hope!

Samui Samui Samui - Hotel Events
Well! We all love how Samui has beautiful beach's and a quiet atmosphere, but some times you need a bit of a party don't you! - Well this latest post on Hotel Samui will inform you all of the different events and festivals that Samui has on offer.
A number of Hotels in Samui also provide information on these events.
Buffalo Fighting Festival: This would be Samui's best-known festival, its Buffalo Fighting Festival, this event is held on special occasions. These can include but are not limited to Songkran and New Years Celebrations. This is rather different to the spanish version "Bull Fighting", the fighting on Samui is realativley harmless to everyone involved. The buffalo are always magically decorated with ribbons, streamers and gold-painted tree leaves. Any contest which lasts just two rounds, monks run up and spray the contestant with holy water. The winning owner generally will get to take home million(s) of $$$ in prize money.
Bowling Championship: Every year Samui hosts the bowling championship, which attracts local and international bowlers.
Ten Stars Samui Art Party: This is a recurring cultural event started by the Thai people bringing together art lovers, local and international Thai and international artists and their new and original artworks. The events are heald bi-monthly, they are generally hosted at various high-end resorts and other 5-star venues in Samui.

Hotel Samui Looking Up
OK! I have had a lot of e-mails regarding hotel area's in Samui (Koh Samui) so I have decided to start giving some reviews and rating some of these hotels.
Chaweng Beach Hotels
Koh Samui's busiest and largest city offers more hotels and resort options than elsewhere on the island or the country. Chaweng is also nightlife central with bars (With and Without Girls) and food catering to every taste.
Maenam Beach Hotels
Samui’s last backpacker land, Maenam Beach has cheap accommodation all along the beach and in towards the main land with brilliant views of Ko Phan Ngan and the Buddah Temple in the distance.
Bophut Beach Hotels
Bophut is really 2 places: Bophut beach, which sits down about 9km between the Big Buddha (opened this year) and Maenam beaches and would be one of the oldest places on the island, the charming and beautiful Fisherman's Village is known for its land scape, food and people which takes up the middle section of the beach.
